12.2hh Dartmoor gelding, 18 years. The most amazing pony, has taught my daughter everything and always brought her home safe. Now ready for a new small jockey to enjoy. Has done everything but his favourite is hacking out, fine in traffic loves hacking on the forest. Can still go out and enjoy some shows. May also suit light weight adult for hacking. Completely trust worthy under saddle but needs a horsey parent on the ground as can be naughty in hand (just greedy and likes to go to find grass). Great to be groomed, bathed and fussed over. Available full or part loan from current yard in Netley Marsh, would possibly consider him moving after trial and if home was suitable/local. He will never be for sale but needs a new rider to enjoy him as their own. He is NOT a lead rein pony, rider needs to know the basics.

Nutmeg is a 14.2hh 15yo traditional coloured cob, kept on full livery at a lovely friendly yard in fabulous riding country just south of Guildford. She is the sweetest, gentlest mare, and totally unfazed by almost anything. She only wants to please, and doesn t know how to be naughty! She is not a plod, though, and is well schooled and responsive to correct aids. I'm looking for a sensible, sympathetic adult rider to hack her out one day a week, preferably on a weekday, days flexible. Extra days are often available at no extra charge. You need to have experience of hacking a horse out alone, and be competent at walk, trot and canter. She would suit a nervous rider, as she tries so hard to please and is a real confidence giver, or an experienced rider who just wants a safe, steady hack in wonderful countryside. No complete novices, children or teenagers, please, and she has a weight limit of 10 stone. I am looking for someone who will enjoy Nutmeg for what she is; she is willing and gives 110% every ride, but she is not a racehorse! No yard duties, but a financial monthly contribution of 130 is required, and you must have your own personal accident insurance.

My daughter has very sadly out grown him so we are looking for somebody to loan him 2 or 3 or maybe more days a week.He is great and takes everything in his stride. He taught my daughter to ride from a complete novice. He can be cheeky if you let him get away with it but never anything nasty. He s great out hacking, great with traffic. ❤️Chico is looking for another child to love him❤️Chico is a 11.2 section A and has taught many children to ride. He is 15 years old. His last sharer shared him for 3 years and he is now looking for his next partner to have lots of fun with. We are looking for someone to share him and help out.He s perfect on the lean rein taking many children off the lead rein..first ridden for a capable rider. We are keen for Chico to get out and about this summer and have lots of fun with the right person. He has done all low level local things and has hunted in the past, he is also good to lead from another horse. He loads well, travels well and would stand all day at a show. He loves a fuss and to be pampered. We have quiet lanes with the forest very near to hack and a nice riding area in the field. He isn t for loan and will need to stay where he is as my children still ride him occasionally. I haven t a bad word to say about Chico as he is a mothers dream and is loved very much! 5 years + please. An experienced parent a must. Any questions please email Eloise.hayes111@gmail.com
Someone reliable must want a lovely mare to ride? Really uncomplicated ride, moves off the leg, well schooled, not sharp or spooky, real confidence giver over fences. No complete novices as she can occasionally nap when leaving the yard hacking alone, she only walks backwards. No bolt, buck or rear. Perfect in traffic. This is a last attempt to find poppy someone willing to be reliable who she can actually build a bond with. Anything from 2-4 days a week. Any days. Lessons and clinics on-site regularly when the riding field is dry enough, people to hack with, full set of jumps in summer jump field. I don t want her bombed around as she is 19 now (although fit and healthy!). She s still happy to go for lovely long hacks and jump. Lovely on the ground, doesn t kick or bite. Just in general a lovely mare. Some standard yard duties required on your days. 80 per month.
This is a very difficult decision but due to personal circumstances, I feel I need to seek a part time sharer/loaner as a start, see how I adapt & potentially go to full.My boy is 17 & I have owned him all his life, he will never be for sale & I will remain in his life. However, I am not getting the best out of him or giving him the best he deserves, hence looking for a second person. He is a 16hh cob x paint horse, he was born in France, his dad was a paint horse in the French Haras. He is not a novice ride, he can be spooky, he will sometimes throw in a buck or 2 & sometimes (not often!) he is unable to cope at all! On the other hand, he can be a lazy whatsit & be happy to plod along! He needs a confident rider who will cope with any of those moods. He is very loving & loves to be loved. There is potential for the right person to compete if they d like to.A financial contribution & help with stable duties will be required, he is to remain at his current yard in Marchwood, there is a floodlit school & good forest hacking. No time wasters please, this is a hard enough decision as it is.Please get in touch for any further info.
10yr TB gelding 17hh /Part loan /sharing Easy to load, good with Vet/FarrierTrained natural horsemanship/libertyPerfect in hacking alone or in groups , Dressage , Shows (no jumping as had tendon injury)He is on full livery at Manor equestrian in Ower and has to stay there
Sharer wanted:We are seeking a sharer for a sweet- natured 7yo, 13hh MW coblet mare. Although a weight carrier type, she is still quite little (with a 15.5 saddle), so she needs a small / lightweight rider (I m 5 6 and 9 stone so around this height / weight would be her max). She has been slowly and sympathetically produced and although is now going nicely under saddle (will not be a world-beater, more whoa than go!), is still very low mileage and therefore still quite green.Having said that, she does take most things in her stride (tractors, cows, crab flies etc) and is hacking out regularly on her own in the forest without issue. She is soft and responsive without being at all fizzy. As we will also continue to work her and slowly build up her fitness and experience, there are no set days or times, you can come up whenever suits (I mostly ride in the week, so weekends are available). She must stay at current yard.Direct forest access is available from yard.Schools available for hire nearby, if wanted.Own rider insurance required.Adults only or competent adult on ground as she is still quite young (although regularly handled by children)Small contribution and poo picking when up requiredThanks for reading
